About Me

My name is Paige Wells. I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Franklin Central High School in the Spring of 2015. I am currently a Senior at Butler University with a major in Secondary Education with a Social Studies concentration and a History minor. I am actively involved in Butler University's Riley Dance Marathon, College Mentors for Kids, Delight Women's Ministries, and a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
Since the fall of 2015, I have been an intern with the Education Department at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. This past year I was also named the 2017 Outstanding Future Social Studies Educator Award Recipient by the Indiana Council for Social Studies. Over the course of this past year, I have also worked with the ICSS and an ICSS board member on curriculum development for the new Indiana Studies course and for Indiana Votes where I designed lesson plans that were sent out to high school Government and Economic classes statewide.
I'm very excited about the future and cannot wait to share my love and passion of teaching and history with students. Please feel free to contact me if you have any comments, questions, or concerns and follow my journey through Twitter. Both are linked at the bottom of my page.
